Overview

Potterwatch was a radio station set up during 1997 to supply news and information to the wizarding community after the fall of the Ministry to Lord Voldemort, who controlled the Wizarding Wireless Network and the Daily Prophet. The show was designed to boost morale, support resistance, and dispel panic, as well as encourage people to protect and support their Muggle neighbours.

The show was set up by Lee Jordan, codename 'River', and a password was needed to tune into the show, which could be learnt by listening to the end of the previous broadcast.Other contributors included Kingsley Shacklebolt, Remus Lupin, and Fred and George Weasley.
