Skele-Gro was a notoriously disgusting potion which could repair broken bones or regrow entire bones if missing or lost (although the process of regrowing bones was said to be very slow and painful). The basis for this potion was created by Linfred of Stinchcombe, an ancestor of the Potter family.

The potion smoked when poured out, and burned as it was consumed. Although not directly part of the school curriculum, this potion could be brewed by Fourth year students at Hogwarts School.
