Flying Ford Anglia
| Owner | Arthur Weasley |
| Uses | Flight, modified storage capacity |
The Flying Ford Anglia was a Ford Anglia 105E Deluxe, originally purchased by Arthur Weasley under the guise of taking it apart to understand how it worked. In secret, Arthur had enchanted the car to fly, become invisible, and store up to ten people and six trunks. The car, potentially unintentionally, also had its own mind.
It seems that many of the Weasley children were aware the car could fly and indeed used it; Bill and Charlie Weasley flew it to Hogwarts as students for the Christmas holidays, where it was sabotaged by Merula Snyde; she gave the part back and the Weasleys, Merula, and Jacob's sibling were able to return to the Burrow for Christmas. Additionally, Fred, George and Ron used it to rescue Harry from Privet Drive in the summer before his Second Year.
At the start of the same school year, Dobby used his magic to seal the entrance to Platform 9¾ to protect Harry, meaning he and Ron were unable to return to school. They used the car to fly to Hogwarts instead, and crashed into the Whomping Willow, before driving off into the Forbidden Forest. Mr Weasley was fined 50 galleons for enchanting the car, particularly after the flight to Hogwarts was witnessed by at least seven Muggles.
At the end of their Second Year, the car returned to save Harry, Ron and Fang from Aragog, ramming into the Acromantulas before allowing Ron to drive them to safety. Afterwards, it reversed back into the Forest, and was never seen again.
