Overview

Nicknamed 'Liquid Luck', this complex potion took 6 months to brew and would make the drinker lucky, said to turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary one. Highly toxic in large quantities, it was banned in all organised sports and competitions.

Invented by Zygmunt Budge in the 16th Century and crowned his magnum opus, if brewed correctly it was molten gold with droplets that jumped from the surface like fish. Although it brought about great success in the drinker, it was limited - it did not improve odds against strong enchantments by much, and wore off after a period of time, during which the dirnker was more likely to prove rather unlucky.

To brew this potion, ashwinder egg should be added to the cauldron, then horseradish, then heated. The juice of a squill bulb should be added next, then stirred vigorously. Then, chopped murtlap tentacle should be added, then heated further. This should be followed by a dash of thyme tincture, stirred slowly. Next, ground occamy eggshell should be added, and the cauldron slowly stirred and heated. Next, a sprinkle of powdered rue, followed by vigorous stirring and a final heating. Last, wave your wand in a figure of eight with the incantation 'Felixempra'.
