Secreted by the Venomous Tentacula plant, this was a non-fatal poison that caused a burning sensation for those who drank it. It also caused a temporary colour change of the skin, usually to purple.

Derwent Shrimpling, a wizarding comedian, ate an entire Venomous Tentacula as a bet, and his skin turned permanently purple.
