Cawl
In Wales, this is a very popular dish and something that is often served around Holiday times. It's sort of like a soup with different vegatables in and meat. It's most commonly known to be eaten on St Davids Day which is a day celebrating the Welsh. Here is what you need for this warm dish:

Lamb, Potatoes, Onions, Leeks, Carrots and Swede

Really, you could use any meat that you wanted but a lot of the time - or from what I've tasted they use minced lamb! You can also change the vegetables! .

Time for dessert!

Welsh Cakes

Ah yes. Probably one of the most well known things to come from Wales - Welsh Cakes! These are like little biscuit-cake type things with either raisins, chocolate chips or plain. These are the ingredients within them:

flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and ground cinnamon!

You could add different things to make it your own or perhaps to make it taste even better!

Well, that's all for this month! But be sure to check back for the next World Foods article! Stay awesome!
