Welcome to this weeks edition of "All about that Lime" Today I'm joined by one of our newest members of the teaching staff, Hiro Spinster. Without further ado let's get into the interview.
Hello Hiro! I have a few questions for you! First off, what subject(s) do you teach, and what made you want to become a professor?
Hello Miss Watkins! I teach Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts, and also DMLE Studies to those post-grad who want to dive into something more specific after school. Before Hogwarts, I taught younger witches and wizards the theory behind magic, and how to control their magic a little more without wands, but when I saw the position for Professor at Hogwarts I had to apply, since it's definitely the subject I took a shine to in my own school years.
Very intresting! I find it really cool that you taught younger students, as that is kind of what I want to do when I'm older! Onto the next question!
If you weren't a Professor here at Hogwarts, is there a different career you would want to persue, and if so, what is it?
Hmm, a difficult question. With the more time I spend in Hogsmeade, I definitely wouldn't mind working in Honeydukes. But on a more serious note, I'd like to study darker magic across the world and research that, but my passion definitely lies within teaching.
Wow, that's cool! Honeydukes is a great place, but dark magic is definetly an interesting feild of study.
Lastly, What are you most looking forward to in your teaching years to come?
Well, since I've only been here a little over a year, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how much my students learn and grow over the next few years. It's always a good feeling to see a young witch or wizard thrive because of something they learnt from you, and any information to keep them safe in the world that helps them is enough for me to be content.
Well, I'm glad you're enjoying working here at Hogwarts, and I'm sure all of your students will enjoy getting to know you too!
It's been great talking to you Hiro! Thank you so much for letting me interview you!
And you! The interview has been wonderful and I'm glad to have been up so soon. Let's hope you've finished that assignment the next time I see you!
See you later Hiro, and I'll catch you all next time in another edition of "All about that Lime!" Hazel out!
