Caring for Magical Creatures
Second Edition - Niffler
Hey there, have you ever found yourself staring into the windows of the Magical Menagerie, seeing a pet you want but having no idea on how to care for it? Well there's a lot you need to know about day to day life with your pet, so here's quick run down!
Up next, a very magical creature, and quite a sneaky one at that, the niffler! Now this creature is well known, but not always for the best reasons as it tends to steal valuables. However with the right love and care, it may be the best pet you ever had!
So one of the most important parts of pet ownership is knowing what you're getting yourself into! After all, would you buy a cat if you didn't know what a cat is? I sure hope not, that would just be silly! In order to make you the very best pet parent you can possibly be, here's some facts, some important things to know, about the coolest niffler in town!
Fact #1
You've adopted a niffler! Congrats! it's time to bring it home and put it in its... that's right, burrow! I hope you have lots of dirt as many of their burrows can reach up to 20 feet below ground. If you don't have enough space and such for that, I'm sure a giant pile of dirt would do.
One thing to keep in mind is that there's a good chance it will take your stuff, so be sure you have accessibility to their entire habitat basically as you will be delving in there to retrieve some of your items.
|
Fact #2
Next step is to keep your niffler alive! And well, food is very necessary for that. So contrary to a belief (perhaps not popular), the niffler does not EAT your gold and valuables.
What does a niffler eat then? Well it's an herbivore and therefore, plants. You can feed it leaves, roots, whatever their personal preference is. In this regard, it's probably smart to keep your niffler away from any house plants.
|
Fact #3
Now with all of that, there's the necessary detail that I feel like I have to state for all legal reasons, owning a niffler is having a thief for a pet!
This can be good, or bad, depending on how you see it. For one, you can train your niffler to steal shiny objects for you (it will steal them no matter what, it's the "for you" part). With tht, your niffler is 99% likely to steal your valuables as well and store it in their burrow.
|
Fact #4
This sounds like a lot of bad and perhaps makes owning a niffler sound not as ideal, but there's lots of memories and fun times to have with your niffler!
Nifflers are extremely playful and also loyal and determined. Really, they're a solid mix of all 4 Hogwarts houses. You're guarenteed to never have a boring day with your niffler around which is what makes it so exciting!
|
And that's it. Just from this you basically know everything there is to know about owning a niffler! If you have any other questions about niffler ownership, please do ask!
And that's all for now. I would love to hear all about your niffler if you have one too. Go get your niffler today and I'll be back soon with another pet highlight!
