Welcome to Wizarding World's Day by Day! I am Melody Marshall, one of your boysenberries, and I am here to give you facts about today's date! That is right! This blog post will be ALL about today's date, could be huge event in the canon series of our world, or just a tiiiny event that people do not care much. But we do, don't we? :D

As my first post, I will be discussing about ... you guess it, March 23!
March 23 is usually the 82nd day of the year, but since we are having a leap year this year, then it is the 83rd day of 2020! Only 283 days left until the end of the year, whooo! Still a long time to go but I bet it will fly as fast as the Snitch.

On this day in 1996, Harry Potter received a free copy of The Quibbler's March edition. This magazine had an article about Voldemort's return which was written based on Rita Skeeter's interview with him. I suppose this was something that cheered him up back then? In 1996, Harry was in his 5th year and no one believed him about the Dark Lord's return back then. This article was a set up by Hermione Granger to bring Harry's good image back! Although the magazine was banned at Hogwarts by the one and only Dolores Umbridge, students however managed to sneak them in and read the article. Sounds dramatic for me!
