Dear users of WoP!
And welcome to the (2nd of 5) SoMe anniversary post(s). For the first time ever, we have been looking through the site, to see who is still active from the time when World of Potter EU was launched. Doing so, we found 5 members of World of Potter EU, who are either still in the staff or have been. We are very grateful that these lovely people have decided to speak to us, and tell us about their experiences.
The entire SoMe team have been very excited to do this, and to see what kind of people started this entire thing. These people all helped translate the site from its original language (Danish), to English. For this, they definitely deserve a pat on the shoulder, because without them WoP EU and many other WoP's would never have been an option!
The SoMe team would like to welcome: Verita Meracugenus, William Arkwright, Valérie Brière, Thomas Wilder and Althea Cahalan
5 people who are still here, who helped open the site and who have done an insane amount to help make this site what it is! So without futher ado, here's some of the things they were asked, by the SoMe team!

William Arkwright - Interviewed by Althea Cahalan.

You have been on WoP EU from the very beginning, what made you join this site?
Well... Like so many others, I have an undying, unconditional love of Harry Potter and I've been doing RP in the universe since I was 11/12 years old. It combines the world in which I wish I'd been born with my passion for writing in the most ideal situation. Plus, since I've been doing this since I was a kid and I have a slight obsessive tendency, I can find no better use of every available minute of my time than hanging out on WoP surrounded by lovely people!

What is your best experience with world of potter?
I have so many best experiences that picking one hardly seems fair. I will say, though, that I enjoy a good round of thorough plotting, whether it be for individual topics, relations, or something else. Going "oh my God, YES!" gives me a particular thrill every single time, and it doesn't matter if I'm hammering it away on my keyboard or speaking the words out loud. Topics are what tie me to WoP and I'm looking forward to many more exhilarating planning sessions in the future!

Fear not, we still have 3 more WoP users to put in the spotlight. Get ready for later when they are posted! Next up will be Thomas Wilder.
