What if you could keep one thing from the original films in the upcoming TV show?
With the new trailer recently dropping it had me feeling many waves of nostalgia (time for a rewatch I guess). I can see we had quite a few new things added but it did get me thinking about what we would like to stay the same. Obviously you could keep some of the cast as we have no real life limitations like aging in this scenario, but as much as I struggle to see Hagrid as anyone other than Robbie Coltrane, I think I’m going to keep the soundtrack, and not just for Hedwig’s theme. Leaving Hogwarts never fails to make me tear up and a Window to the Past is how I always imagined it sounded wandering through the Hogwarts grounds. I’m sure the soundtrack will be good, but the movie one was just too magical.
