Have you ever found yourself wondering how things could’ve been different with one simple decision? Perhaps you’re familiar with the butterfly effect, and know that one small change can have massive implications in the future. This series asks the hard hitting questions about our magical world, with you having an opportunity to share how you think things would have changed - for better or worse.
Everyone who comments with their ideas will receive a prize of
3 wizard cards, so make sure to take part in each week's edition! And if you have your own ideas for a Whaf If?, please owl them to Raeh Thatcher.
Decisions, decisions.
What if your character had the opportunity to own one of the Hallows (Elder Wand, Invisibility Cloak, Resurrection Stone) or the Philosopher’s Stone? Which one would you choose and why?
Raeh’s far too sensible to worry about the hassle the Elder Wand would bring - particularly when it would spend most of its time cleaning graffiti from desks. The Resurrection Stone doesn’t hold much interest for her either, so she’d be tossing up between the cloak and the Philosopher’s Stone. I think the novelty of the stone would wear off after the first few golden objects so the Invisibility Cloak would be the only one that would have long lasting usefulness, but not too long (no immortality for me either). But it could become quite handy whenever certain people come looking for a meeting.
