What if you could bring something from the muggle world into the magical world?
I know witches and wizards like to think they are so much more advanced than muggles, but honestly, their lives could be easier if they adopted even a fraction of the technologies that muggles have invented. The biggest one for me is the telephone - even just the landline. Having owl post, a Patronus, Floo, or a magic mirror as your key options for communication aren’t great. Just imagine how much easier it would have been to contact Sirius if the wizarding community had just got connected up to the grid even a little. ‘Are you in the Department of Mysteries now? No? What a relief, I’ll just stay at school’. It is way more convenient and really quite easy to use. Plus I’m sure we would put a magical spin on it so it fits in nicely.
