Have you ever found yourself wondering how things could’ve been different with one simple decision? Perhaps you’re familiar with the butterfly effect, and know that one small change can have massive implications in the future. This series asks the hard hitting questions about our magical world, with you having an opportunity to share how you think things would have changed - for better or worse.
Everyone who comments with their ideas will receive a prize of
3 wizard cards, so make sure to take part in each week's edition! And if you have your own ideas for a Whaf If?, please owl them to Raeh Thatcher.
Time to fix some plot holes…
What if you were in charge of planning Harry’s escape from the Dursley’s in Deathly Hallows?
Look, the seven Potters is a fun idea, but is it really the best? When the Death Eaters and Voldemort do come for him, it might confuse them for a bit, but they do know he is someone amongst them. Why not turn him into regular old Joe Muggle and just have him catch a taxi or a bus to an undisclosed location to then be transported to a safe house. You could still keep his bodyguards, just Polyjuice them into non-descript muggles as well. And you can still keep the decoy Potters too if you want, or maybe just one…I’m sure Mundungus would have happily volunteered.
What’s your plan - or are you sticking with the OG?
