1- How did you discover WoP EU, and what was your initial connection to the Harry Potter universe?
I discovered WoP a very, very long time ago. It sounds like I'm getting old, but I've known the site since I was old enough. It's helped me a lot to improve my English throughout my life (I'm originally French). But I had a break between 2023 and 2026, as my real life was quite busy. I came back with lots of good memories and the desire to get involved again. Regarding Harry Potter, it's actually kind of funny; it's the first film that didn't scare me. Otherwise, I was terrified of all the films. I fell in love with that universe, I read all the books in French and all of them in English, and I participated in Potterhead competitions.
2- What do you do in your day-to-day life? Do you think your work could be, or has, a link to the Hogwarts universe?
In my day-to-day life, I'm focused on my studies. So I think there's a 100% connection to potential higher education after Hogwarts. I'm in business and marketing, so my role in WoP is 1000% aligned with what I do in real life. I think my studies could be interesting in the wizarding world, but with a magical twist. A wizarding business background would allow me to become an accountant at Gringotts, a businesswoman, and so on.
3- Tell us a little more about your In-RP character. Does it have any connection to your real-life personality?
In my everyday life, I'm always with my golden trio from my studies. I admit I don't really like making friends here and there—I prefer having my close friends, who can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Giulia, on the other hand, is a bit the opposite; she loves to chat, smile, and share moments with lots of people. I think she balances out my reclusive side in real life.
We have things in common: we're both loyal and would give anything for our loved ones. We're both creative and sometimes a little absent-minded.
4- If your character had to be friends with a character from the saga, who would it be? And why?
I think that in the saga, Giulia would be friends with Hermione Granger. A timeless character whom I sincerely appreciate. Hermione tends to talk a lot and always wants to be right. Giulia loves to talk a lot, especially to play pranks and get up to mischief. They would be a bit like yin and yang, but they would make a very good duo.
5- If your character had to be an enemy with a character from the saga, who would it be? And why?
Giulia could be Dolores Umbridge's absolute enemy. I think that's a point in everyone's mind. But Giulia hates injustice, abuse of power, and especially people with two personalities. Dolores Umbridge pretends to be a kind cat lady, but behind it all, even the devil is afraid of her. Giulia values honesty and authenticity. The opposite of Dolores.
6- Do you have any message for new users?
Have fun on the site. Use it to help you disconnect from real life. Most players are kind and open-minded, and you all have one thing in common: the wizarding world. Don't be afraid to be yourself or play your opposite. (Respect the site rules too, haha) (and apply as well) (preferably to the SoMe Team, I'm an awesome boss)
