Let's get to know each other

I cannot remember how I discovered WoP EU. I'm thinking I probably googled looking for some site based on Harry Potter. I actually started out on UK but it was around eight years ago when I was living with a friend. I did actually enjoy it so much that I recommended it to three of my friends who all joined, and all must have enjoyed it to some degree to have graduate site jobs. I didn't realise until later in my life but I have always been a big fantasy fan, especially magic. If the worlds are created in detail, with so much thought and cleverness, I will fall in love, and that's what I did with this universe.

I have ADHD, specifically Inattentive, which means I lack focus and concentration. My day-to-day usually consists of me sitting on my butt and doing nothing unless I absolutely have to. I tend to read using my Kindle app or my physical books, that's when I'm not trying to catch up on my ever-growing topic list. For work I work for a pub-restaurant company, I moved into the kitchen when I relocated and all I can say is that now I know how those elves feel. They really do deserve more. Funny story actually, the Head Office for my work is based very close to the Harry Potter Studios in Watford. Once upon a time my goal was to work my way to Head Office so that I could move to Watford and then work at the studios and just have Harry Potter be a part of my life everyday, all the time, not that it already isn't.

Hugo is a challenge for me. He is very short-tempered, ignorant, selfish, doesn't care for many people, and always pushes limits to get what he wants. I can relate to Hugo somewhat in terms of not being able to handle my emotions well, as well as not really ever thinking I could find someone to love until it unexpectedly happened. We both enjoy our time alone, and coffee, although.. Hugo would eat beans for breakfast with milk. I would not.

I think Hugo would definitely be friends with Gregory Goyle. The fiendfyre he cast was pretty impressive and just shows how determined he was in the Room of Requirement. Hugo admires that kind of determination and people that would happily hurt others just to get what they want, as well as having no limits on how they hurt them.

Hugo would have tons of enemies. Dumbledore's entire whole army for one. He can be a good person, but only to those who are good to him and in order for that to happen, they have to see qualities in him that he possesses before he can see them himself. His most disliked would be Luna Lovegood, too much colour and happiness.

I would say to new users - I hope you enjoy your time here and stay with us for eternity. WoP EU is a community that his filled with creative minds, kind-hearts and some of the most funny people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. If you are stuck, there is always a helping hand. I wouldn't enjoy my time here as much as I do even if wasn't for everyone else helping to make it so, effortlessly. Take your time, enjoy opening up your creative mind, and escape reality for a while in the world of potter.
