~ Edition #2 ~
Hello Woppians!

It’s time to place your bets and pick a side…

Headmaster Harland and Minister Beckett have become rivals of sorts as they bet against each other on the simpler matters in life. There is always a consequence for the loser of every bet, and a story to tell behind each.

Join us in placing your bets in either support of Clarence Harland, or Astrid Beckett! Below you will read about the current ongoing bet, and all you need to do is decide where you lie, down below in the comments!

Each week, those within the winning bet will receive 5 wizard cards, and 2 house points, to be revealed at the start of the following week's article.

Since our last edition, the Murphy family saw the loss of one Boris Murphy, and the decision as to who got the business has been revealed. The Murphy children all left their solicitors office enraged, whilst Phillip Turnboat grinned, holding the business license in his hands that he had worked so hard for over the many years he had been a Murphy employee.

And so that means Clarence is our bet winner this week! Unfortunately, this means that Astrid lost, having to face the consequence of reluctantly giving Clarence back his favourite portrait she had won in a previous bet.

This week we bet on the outcome of an unfortunate series of events. Mrs Pickling has been the talk of society with her misfortune as of late, losing large amounts of her money at Muggle casinos and on the national lottery which she has always insisted she will win. However, the latest news is that she stumbled upon a lucky rabbit's foot outside her home last week, and she has taken this as a sign to go big or go home. Mrs Pickling has withdrawn all her Galleons from Gringott’s and exchanged them into Muggle money, last seen heading to the local Post Office to buy as many lottery tickets as possible.

Clarence bets that Mrs Pickling is out of her mind to bet all her money after such a bad losing streak, believing she is about to lose everything
VS
Astrid bets that with so much money invested, the odds have to be on her side at the very least, choosing to believe she will be victorious

But which bet will you take? Let us know down in the comments, before the next article comes out next Monday, do you side with Clarence or Astrid?
