Hi everyone and welcome, once again, to Why so Sirius!
For this edition of my blog, I'll be interviewing a greenie, namely Áinle O'Reilly! Everybody say hi.
I hope you all enjoy. Question #1: What's the most embarrassing thing you own? Can be clothes, decoration, etc...
I had a jaw surgery a couple years ago and the surgeon 3D printed the model of my jaw before and after the surgery... so now I have half an anatomically-correct 3D skull just sitting in my bedroom as decoration. It works well for Halloween decoration though... one time my friend asked me where I got the "cute skull decor" from. I told her that if she wanted to sit through a major surgery and very long, painful recovery period featuring a liquid-based diet she could get one too!
I'm sorry but I have to say: that is SO iconic. Just casually use your own (fake) bones as decoration.
Next up is question #2: If your life was a video game, what would you title it?
Oh my... I'm not a gamer at all, but I think it would be called "Sleepy Grove" or something like that. A cute little RPG video game about a very tired girl trying to romanticise her quiet life.
I would so play that. Personally, I love romanticising everything. Pop on one of those youtube playlists for some atmosphere and voila.
Question #3: What two (or more) sports would you merge together into one big frankenstein sport?
I'm from Australia, and so I'm a huge fan of Australian rules football. If you're not familiar with it, I really recommend you watch a YouTube summary - it's an impressive, physically demanding game with athletes who are truly freaks of nature. But whenever the Olympics roll around, I love watching the gymnastics. So to create a frankensport, I'd combine Australian football and gymnastics - perhaps the points you win when you score a goal can only count if you nail a double backflip after kicking it? ;-)
Make em really work for it, I like it! I also think there'd be less dramatic falling and semi-dying among the players, so... Bonus points.
Almost there! Question #4: You found your own country, what's the first rule to make it to the constitution?
Too easy. Chocolate milk is the country's official beverage and must be drunk by all. (Let's not worry about the sugar content, artificial colours, all of that stuff...)
Ah... Hate to say this, but I wouldn't move to your country. I'm more of a hot milk girlie. I can appreciate the sentiment, though!
Last but not least - Question #5: Tell me about your favourite animal but describe it weirdly.
The first thing that came to mind is they're kind of pathetic but adorable. In my opinion, they look like they have very kind eyes and are always smiling. Evolutionary, they are superior to their "species siblings", and one named Perry was paid $75 to be photographed, filmed, and sketched as a reference for an iconic character voiced by Eddie Murphy in a very famous animated film series. What's the film? It features a green ogre named Shrek...
It took me until Eddie Murphy to get it hahaha but I agree with the description. Also, I'm glad Perry got paid handsomly for his service to our culture.
Here we are again, the end of another Why So Sirius. Thanks again to Áinle for the spectacular answers.
As always, feel free let me know should you want to volunteer someone to be interviewed, or if you have fun questions. See you next time!
