Welcome, {%FIRSTNAME%}, to the first article of World Food

In this blog I will be making you all super hungry! Just kidding ;) I shall be talking to you about foods from around the world! Each month I will be bringing you a new place from around the world and different foods from that place. Perhaps ones you've tried, or even ones that you'd like to try!
 
So today, we are going to be starting with AMERICA! Now, I know a lot of food that comes from there because even in the UK we have a lot of it, but it's most well known for being American!;)

Hamburgers!
So, these are known in the UK as just...burgers. But they originated in Texas America in 1880's, which is an awful long time ago. Here are the ingredients to make the hamburgers!

Mineced beef (For the Patty,) Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles and also the buns to make the burger.

Burgers have come a long way. They used to just be Hamburgers but now we have them ranging from cheese burgers to quadzillas. And if you have never seen what a Quadzilla burger is, I would highly recommend it. Your mind with be BLOWN! .

Apple Pie!

Even though Apple Pie originated in the UK, it is still known as an American food which first came around in 1697! Before I was born - duh ;) This dish is made from

Sugar, butter, flour, apple, cinammon and pastry!


There are many different types of pies whether it's it's sweet or savoury. But I'd take a cherry pie over a cheese pie ANYDAY!
