Hello lovely users, today we are going to be interviewing a member of staff so that you can get to know them better. As you can probably tell, they are a member of Gryffindor house and some would call her their leader because she is... Today's interview by Adrasteia is with the lovely April Thorne!
 
Adrasteia: On WoP UK who are you and what is your job?

April: My name is April Thorne, and I am the Head of House Gryffindor! As a HoH I’m here for all of the students, encouraging them to keep up with their homework and earning points for our house. I give out rewards to those who work hard and keep the Notice Board up to date with lots of interesting posts and competitions. I also train our Quidditch Team in preparation for their matches! I’m here as a helpful and friendly leader, answering questions and showing new students around.

Adrasteia: Do you enjoy your job on the site?

April: Yes, I love my job! I love House Gryffindor and we have some absolutely, wonderful Lions and I love them all dearly. They really are very hardworking, and the Quidditch Team is very good. I love being a part of it all!

Adrasteia: How long IRL have you been doing said job?

April: I have been the HoH since October 3rd 2017, but I had other jobs before this!

Adrasteia: What are the fun and not so fun parts?

April: All of it is fun! I love being there for the Lions and rewarding them for their hard work, it’s lovely to see them all grow and keep being active.

Adrasteia: Is there anything special that you can do?

April: Hmm… Something special… Well, keeping control of all those pesky Lions is a difficult job, let me tell you that. Keeping them in line is something I have a pretty good knack of. As a student, I was a pretty decent Quidditch player, and Charms was a specialty of mine at Hogwarts.

Adrasteia: Anything you think is important to know about you and that should always be known by any user?

April: Hmm… I don’t think there is anything too specific that you need to know about me, but please don’t be afraid to come to me if you need a bit of help or advice. I’m not saying I’ll be able to help, but I’ll try my very best. I promise I won’t bite. Much. No really, If you ever need anything, I’m always here.
