Welcome, {%FIRSTNAME%}, to the fourth article of World Food

In this blog I will be making you all super hungry! Just kidding ;) I shall be talking to you about foods from around the world! Each month I will be bringing you a new place from around the world and different foods from that place. Perhaps ones you've tried, or even ones that you'd like to try!

So today, we are going to be looking at IRELAND! I'm not really sure if I've ever tasted any foods from here, but I suppose we shall find out!

Let's dig in!

Irish Stew
This is almost like when we discussed about Wales. It's kind of a soup, but it'll keep you souper warm See what I did there in Winter so I would highly recommend it. Looks like it's very healthy too! Here is what you'll need to make it:

Lamb, Potatoes, Onions, Thyme, Carrots, chive, parsley, celery, bay leaf and peppercorns

Really, you could use any meat that you wanted but a lot of the time - or from what I've tasted they use minced lamb! You can also change the vegetables! .

Time for dessert!

Soda Bread

This sounds pretty odd to someone who is not irish, but what on earth is it? Bread with raisins or perhaps chocolate? And as a dessert too, how strange! Anyway, let's find out. These are the ingredients within them:

flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, rosemary, milk, lemon and honey!

Usually you add marmalade or jam or perhaps something else that's sweet to it!

Well, that's all for this month! But be sure to check back for the next World Foods article! Stay awesome!
