What is its abilities?

The Dugbog is known for a few different things when it comes to abilities. Firstly, it is rather known to bite the ankles of humans who dare get into their territory. Despite this, it is considered pretty harmless, seeing as it mainly feeds on small animals, but it is known to be able to take down large animals such as deers if needed. But, despite many believing their are rather aggressive creatures, many believes they only attack if they feel threatened or are hungry.

Where does it usually live?

The creature is usually found in North America, South America and Europe naturally, but have also been brought to other places.

How well would it be to hold as a pet?

The Dugbog is definitely a pet that can be hold in the correct conditions. The creature would need access to a water-y area and general areas that is close to its habitat, meaning the the creature would preferably be held outside. It also needs a constant stream of small animals it can feed on, as it otherwise can be aggressive. The owner needs to be aware that the Dugbog can attack - whether it is your ankles or an actual attack, as Dugbog's formerly have attacked people. It is also important to remember that this creature does not have any use in potions or things like that, meaning that if you would want such a creature, it should be because you enjoy it. All this aside, the Dugbog would hold well as a pet to an owner who truly understands them.
