"Fantastic premiere with extraordinary Beasts"

After the premiere of the last movie within the Harry Potter series, the whole world started to grieve - but we all know, that J. K. Rowling is a woman of her word, so we weren’t left alone for long after she announced another magical series. After five years of mourning, we can actually say that the magical world we all love is now brought back to life on the big screen. It was never dead in our hearts of course.

Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them – that’s the title of the new piece of work (or should I say art?) and the rumours are true. It is indeed incredible. The plot is set 70 years before “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” and the main character turns out to be Newton Scamander. What do we know about him? Well, he was the author of the book “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” which became one of the standard textbooks at Hogwarts. He was also a student of our beloved magical school Hogwarts, and we soon find out in the movie, that he was expelled. But I'm getting ahead of myself, let me get back to the plot.

Let me paint you a picture. We're in New York in the early 1920's, our main character comes into the room with a strange suitcase brimming with magical creatures. Even though everything seems fine, some drama, of course, meddles with the lovely story. The MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America) finds out about it rather quickly and they are not happy about it – they find Newt’s creatures incredibly dangerous for the magical world. Unfortunately, as a result of a brave muggle and two beautiful witches literally bumping into Newt, some of the creatures escaped, creatures who bring devastation where ever they go. What's even worse is, that we find out there's another power, which seeks vengeance and is connected to the soul of dark magic. But hey, we do have Newt, who slowly becomes our new, perfect hero who has everything to attract us and make us pay attention to everything he does. This charming character is all around very quickly and so is his beasts.

I have to admit, I was thrilled with the whole idea of the movie. And as the rest of us, I was almost in tears when I saw the first scene with Warner Bros logo and heard the music (Of course connected with Harry Potter’s theme, because, why they're not stupid!). I couldn't have imagined the special effects but I was not disappointed – and neither when it comes to actor’s selection. I’m pretty convinced that Ezra Miller would win your hearts by showing his great ability to play such a dark and gloomy character as Credence or Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein with her charm, beauty and sense of humor. We should also notice the important role of Katherine Waterstone, who plays Porpentina Goldstein, Queenie's sister, who of course, whether she liked it or not, falls a bit for Newt throughout the movie.

If you are crazy about this new movie, then you are exactly like me. So for those who want some mysteries, go have a serious look at the movie - and trailers too. First of all, we have this new amount of energy called an Obscurus, which are probably very important to Grindelwald and his attacks. The blond hair noticed in the teaser, turned out to be Grindelwald himself, so be prepared, because the next movie can contain a lot of his character. Nothing to be afraid of though ... We have Newt, right? I'm not scared, you are! It is all connected to the Deathly Hallows, the sign also appears in the movie – which gave me a thrill, when I saw it. The whole speculation after seeing the teasers and trailers turned out to be true, so why aren't you at the movies yet, crying and laughing?

Although it was only the beginning, we all have to consider this movie as a promise of a great continuation of the story – the characters didn’t receive their full delineation yet, but they are ready to show us their great potential. The most important thing is that the authors were capable of inflaming curiosity in all of us, that has seen the movie already. So get yourself to the nearest cinema and have fun! And then return to this post to talk about it. 'Cause you're going to want to. Hell, I can't wait to have someone to fangirl and scream with!
