Ah, it's me! I really won't go away, huh? Anyway, welcome back!
Greetings, I am
Ilan Kim bringing you the first very edition of
Classy Adventures! If you haven't already guessed due to the title, this blog is about... the different classes taught at the castle! There will be information on these classes, some cool aesthetics, and even a little section where
you get to help fill in the blanks! Anyway, let's look into our class for today which is... Astronomy!
─── ✧ 。.・───
What was Astronomy like many years ago? Was it completely the same? Did people always look up at the stars? How did all that work? Well, well, you've come to the right place!
Unlike most other classes taught at Hogwarts, Astronomy is also a class that many people take in the muggle world. Muggle astronomy and magical astronomy share many differences and are probably taught almost exactly the same in both worlds. Anyway, astronomy was once a core class at the castle and it was required from years one to five. Now, of course, it's a class that you can only take starting in your fourth year. I'm actually not quite sure what changed the course to a four through seven year but I do know that it did happen.
One big part of astronomy was studying the movement of planets and all the different stars. There is evidence that students once had to fill out star charts. They studied moons of planets, weather in space, and everything in between.
Overall, astronomy is an interesting subject that can align with the muggle world. You can learn about galaxies and stars and beyond! Fun, right? When you get to your fourth year (if you're not already in it), make sure to take a trip to the Astronomy classroom!

Ah, now, shall we enjoy some wonderful aesthetics?

Every new edition, there's going to be a little... adventure! This will consist of a character (note: these characters are NPCs and do not actually exist on site) having an adventure at the featured class of the week! But I'm going to need your help! How? It's up to you to
fill in the blanks. Have you ever heard of mad libs? Well, that's what we're going to be doing. Each week, there will be adjectives, nouns, all those fun stuff for you to fill out in the comments and one person's suggestions will go into the next week's adventure!
And thank you so much to everyone who filled out the mad lib last week! And this week, thank you
Hyacinth Carver for filling it out and congratulations on being featured. Ready for the adventure?
The sweet telescope in Ryder’s hands felt catastrophic, yet heavy at the same time. He would angle it, peer into it but he could still just roll the same old stars. Frustrating. The boy majectically let out a sigh. And he was supposed to look for the planet Chrissy? Angling the telescope again, Ryder mentally crossed his fingers. This had to work! Star, star, more stars. “Chrissy! Where are you?” And… wake up!- Ryder gasped. It looked like a regular star at first but were those… rings? Chrissy! “I found it!”
What an interesting experience it seems like Ryder has had... an adventure, one might call it! Sounds interesting, right/
Would you like a chance to have what you would put in the blanks featured? Well, well, next week's adventure is a surprise but whatever you might comment could definitely change the story a little! So make sure to fill this out in the comments!

I cannot wait to see what next week's adventure turns out to be and what it's like but I guess we'll have to find out! Don't forget to fill out the blanks in the comments- OH and did I mention that everyone who fills in the blanks gets a prize? So go go!
Well, well, I hope you've had a wonderful time reading this blog- I've had a great time writing it! Make sure to stay tuned for the next post and next adventure in two weeks!
Thank you for reading and make sure to go do your Astronomy homework!
