Hello lovely users, today we are going to be interviewing a wonderful user of the site so that you can get to know them better. As you can probably tell, they are a member of Slytherin house and many among us welcome her as Mama Snake... Today's interview by Adrasteia is with the extraordinary Blair Ashford!
Adrasteia: On WoP UK who are you and what is your job?
Blair: I am Blair Ebony Ashford, Head of Slytherin House. Basically it is my job to look after all the little snakes (and sometimes the big snakes too) as well as be generally encouraging to every student in Hogwarts. I get the wonderful job of giving gifts for all the fantabulous house points each snake earns and keeping them updated and entertained via the notice board (kudos to all my wonderful notice board journalists)
Adrasteia: Do you enjoy your job on the site?
Blair: Yes! It can be daunting at times and a little scary but I couldn't imagine anything better than being there for all my snakes and being surrounded by such wonderful people.
Adrasteia: How long IRL have you been doing said job?
Blair: As of today, 6 days xD But it's been a very intense 6 days
Adrasteia: What are the fun and not so fun parts?
Blair: So far it's been seeing how welcoming, supportive and genuinely caring everyone has been whilst I've accepted this new role. It was strange getting a new perspective and suddenly being overwhelmed with pride for everything my snakes have already done in earning points and creating a wonderful house. But in all honesty being able to support and congratulate them all is one of the best parts I've experienced so far and to any snakes reading this who hasn't heard it already: I love you all and I am so happy and proud to be your Head of House! As for the not so fun parts... HTML has become the bane of my life
Adrasteia: Is there anything special that you can do?
Blair: Well I don't know if this counts as special but I can say the alphabet backwards
Adrasteia: Anything you think is important to know about you and that should always be known by any user?
Blair: Hmm... I'm not responsible for anything I do if you wake me up? I can get pretty cranky without enough sleep, but during waking hours I can be perfectly friendly and willing to talk to anyone about everything!
