Welcome welcome! It's time for another adventure that I've been waiting for. Perhaps put up your defenses and we can begin?
If you're new to this blog, I am
Ilan Kim bringing you another edition of
Classy Adventures! This blog is about... the different classes taught at the castle! Each addition includes information on classes, some cool aesthetics, and even a little section where
you get to help fill in the blanks! Anyway, let's look into our class for today which is... History of Magic or HoM!
─── ✧ 。.・───
What was History of Magic like many years ago? Did people still use all the same spells and have the same practical practice of defending themselves? Well well! If you've been wondering this, you've come to the right place.
History of Magic has been taught since as long as anyone can remember at Hogwarts and is a core class. It was originally taught from Year 1 to Year 5 and it was all about history. It was also known for being a completely theoretical class that required no magic. The biggest emphasis of History of Magic back in those days was to remember important names, places, and dates.
This subject throughout the years has gotten the rap for being 'boring' or 'uninteresting' but it doesn't have to be. With interesting teaching methods, this class can be as fun and interesting as ever.
Nowadays the subject is taught by Serena Sada and is now taught the entire seven years. With these teaching methods, it sounds like Professor Sada's history class is truly something interesting!
"We're going to have to look at what people have done before to see what we want to do to improve the days of tomorrow. Always feel free to talk to me, as I am always willing to help you with History." - Serena Sada
Doesn't that sound so interesting? It wouldn't be great if we made all the same mistakes as people did previously in history, right? Well, well, hopefully you'll take a trip to the History of Magic classroom with Professor Sada!

Ah, now, shall we enjoy some wonderful aesthetics?

Every new edition, there's going to be a little... adventure! This will consist of a character (note: these characters are NPCs and do not actually exist on site) having an adventure at the featured class of the week! But I'm going to need your help! How? It's up to you to
fill in the blanks. Have you ever heard of mad libs? Well, that's what we're going to be doing. Each week, there will be adjectives, nouns, all those fun stuff for you to fill out in the comments and one person's suggestions will go into the next week's adventure!
And thank you so much to everyone who filled out the mad lib last week! And this week, thank you
Corvina Morgan for filling it out and congratulations on being featured. Ready for the adventure?
History of planets. It was Evan’s favorite class although all of his godmother seemed to think that he was ridiculous for liking… history. But Evan was always quick to reply that it was arrogant. It was cool to learn about previous events and how they related to his everyday life. While he was jotting down some notes as the professor coughed, Evan was plotting a whole historical fiction novel in his ankle. What if… maybe his character could live in a house by the sea and due to that, narrowly escape… History was all a story and Evan was going to find a way to make it an anxious one.
What an interesting story... aren't we all planning stories inside our ankles?
Would you like a chance to have what you would put in the blanks featured? Well, well, next week's adventure is a surprise but whatever you might comment could definitely change the story a little! So make sure to fill this out in the comments!
- card game
- duration of time
- adjective
- verb
- four random letters
- body part
I cannot wait to see what next week's adventure turns out to be and what it's like but I guess we'll have to find out! Don't forget to fill out the blanks in the comments- OH and did I mention that everyone who fills in the blanks gets a prize? So go go!
Well, well, I hope you've had a wonderful time reading this blog- I've had a great time writing it! Make sure to stay tuned for the next post and next adventure in two weeks!
Thank you for reading and make sure to go do your History of Magic homework!
