This Edition's Wizarding Card
Zac grew up in a rowdy all-boys orphanage, never knowing his parents. His Hogwarts letter was a miracle, and gave him a chance to become a better person. Well, his idea of a better person. Zac spent his first two years of school trying to cause trouble and prank as many people as possible, but he quickly grew out of that and ended up keeping to himself for the vast majority of his years, making a few enemies and even fewer friends. Zac always wanted to be one of those boys surrounded by friends and admirers, but ended up being more nervous about introducing himself than he'd anticipated.. Any friends he'd made had come to him first; Evelyn Callaghan was a good example of that - she wasn't old enough to go to Hogsmeade so asked Zac to bring her back some sugar mice for her, and the rest was history. He feels like a big brother to all of his younger friends, and feels great when he can protect them from the older kids being mean. This was way better than what he'd dreamt of. He doesn't need heaps of friends to be happy.
